Intelligent Energy Management in a Prosumer Community Considering the Load Factor Enhancement

In prosumers’ communities, the use of storage batteries (SBs) as support for photovoltaic (PV) sources combined with coordination in household appliances usage guarantees several gains. Although these technologies increase reliability electricity supply, large-scale home periods lower solar radiation and low tariff can impair performance electrical system. The appearance new consumption peaks lead to disturbances. Moreover, repetition events short term cause rapid fatigue assets. To address concerns, this research proposes a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model aiming at optimal operation SBs appliance each prosumer, well PV plant within community achieve maximum load factor (LF) increase. Constraints related appliances, including electric vehicle (EV), shared plant, SBs, are considered. Uncertainties habits simulated using Monte Carlo algorithm. proposed was solved CPLEX solver. effectiveness our is evaluated with/without LF improvement. Results corroborate efficient tool. Financial benefits obtained both prosumers energy company.
